Natural Cleaning Products

Cleaning the house is a necessity, but it doesn’t mean you always have to buy expensive chemical cleaners! Prepare your house this season with products many homeowners already have.

Four Monks vinegar on clean bathroom sink

Citrus Fragrance:

This all-natural scent is perfect for spring, summer, and entertaining guests. It’s strong yet pleasing and will do wonders for your home. All you need is a few orange, lemon, and lime peels and cinnamon sticks to boil in a pot of water.

Diluted White Vinegar:

White vinegar is a natural deodorizer that works great when trying to remove a strong odor. Aside from its odor-removing powers, it can be used to clean hardwood floors, dried soap, and even toilet bowls. This product does just about everything without putting forth too much effort!

Baking Soda:

Baking soda is a great agent for cleaning bathrooms. Its bright white appearance and powdery texture leave any dirty surface shiny and unstained. If you are dealing with a lot of grime on a tub or sink faucet, mix the baking soda with water to form a thick consistency. Apply to the desired area for up to 24 hours and wash clean. Also as many people know, this mixture acts as a natural teeth whitener as well!

Rubbing Alcohol:

Clean any glass surface with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. All you have to do is apply it to a soft cloth and buff it into the area. It will leave any window or mirror perfectly polished!
